Fluke
Handheld Three-phase Power Quality Analyzer
Fluke
Power Quality, a division of Fluke Corporation, the worlds leading
supplier of test and measurement equipment, introduces the first three-phase
power quality analyzers that are rated to CAT III, 1000 V / CAT IV,
600 V for all fourchannels, enabling power quality testing at the service
entrance. The Fluke 430 Series three-phase handheld power quality analyzers
offer unique features like AutoTrend, which records everything on the
screen automatically, and System- Monitor, a quick diagnosis of system
performance against user defined limits. A user can even view stored
data while continuing to record. Together, the features help to quickly
diagnose problems and build benchmarks for predictive maintenance. Designed
for power quality specialists as well as electricians and plant technicians
working in industrial, healthcare, business, and public services settings,
the Fluke 430 Series has functions typically only found on expensive
power recorders. Yet its menu-driven interface allows users to be hooked
up and recording in minutes. With a CAT III, 1000 V / CAT IV, 600 V
safety rating, the Fluke 430 Series can measure all phases, neutral
and ground on virtually every connection in a low voltage electrical
distribution system. The meters measurement capabilities encompass
all power system parameters including true-rms voltage and current,
frequency, power, power consumption (energy), unbalance and flicker.
They also automatically capture events like transients (as fast as 5
microseconds and as high as 6 kV), interruptions, rapid voltage changes
and dips and swells. Optimised for mobile applications, these rugged
instruments operate up to seven hours on a single battery charge. The
large data memory stores up to 50 screens and up to 10 measurements
each comprising 32 parameters including setups and trend data
recorded for more than a year, all of which can be transferred
to a PC via FlukeView® software for analysis or use in reports.
Honeywell
PID Controller
The
Honeywell PID controller from Bhagwan Associates, features two 4-digit
displays with 7 LED segments, each configurable for PV and SP. It accepts
12 types of TC inputs, 3 types of RTD inputs, 5 types of linear input,
and supports relay, voltage pulse, linear and others as an output for
various control application. Automatic and manual operation is enabled
by pressing the A/M key; output percentage is indicated proportionately
by 10 LEDs. Apart from the main output, it can also support Duplex Output
Mode (Heat/Cool) through two control processes, auxiliary output PV,
SP and MV re-transmission, alarm up to 3 alarm set (1/4 DIN) as well
as 17 alarm modes. The programmable models have two inter-link patterns,
each with eight segments. A non-volatile memory based on EEPROM ensures
data integrity during loss of power supply and renders the data secure
and reliable. Communication interface types RS-232 and RS-484 are available
as option. A range of cutout sizes are available, viz. 48 x 48, 48 x
96, 72 x 72 and 96 x 96. The controllers can be configured as per the
process requirements Bhagwan Associates offers the Digital Controller
type DC10 series from TataHoneywell, to meet bulk requirements of OEMs
at most economical prices with ready availability.
