Powered Guided Wave Radar
The
Eclipse 707 is the first radar type level measurement that is able to
measure both the upper liquid level and the liquid-liquid level interface
over a 2-wire loop powered connection. Hydrocarbon condensate and water
interfaces are typical applications for this user-friendly transmitter
with no moving parts.
The
707 utilises the technology of TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry), and
sends high frequency pulses down a wave guide antenna (GWR probe). When
the pulse reaches a liquid surface, part of the signal is reflected
and level is accurately determined by means of a high speed timing circuit.
The remaining energy continues travelling down the probe until it reaches
a higher dielectric liquid. This pulse will once more be reflected and
measured by the timing circuit. By measuring the time of both reflections
and the compensation of the speed of travel through the upper liquid
layer, both upper liquid level and the liquid-liquid interface level
can be accurately determined.
The
Eclipse 707 delivers a 4-20mA output (per Namur NE 43) for the liquid
interface level and via Hart a digital signal for both levels. Via a
Hart module interface the unit can deliver multiple 4-20mA and relays
outputs. The
user will find the same menu structure as for the popular 705 series.
This turns the new 707 into a user-friendly device in spite of a much
more complex measuring algorithm.
With
interface capability on board, Eclipse is now able to service the widest
range of application in the industry. Applications may range from high
viscosity up to 10,000 cP, temperature up to 400°C, saturated steam
applications up to 110 bar boilers, high pressure up to 345 bar, liquefied
gases down to Er of 1,4 extremely aggressive or ultra clean applications.

Inductive

Controllers
New
low cost SR1 and SR3 series microproces-
sor based auto-tune digital process controllers are available in standard
DIN sizes 48mm X 48mm (SR1) and 96mm (SR3). Multi-input feature allows
connection to various types of thermocouple, RTD, voltage or current
sources with user selectable ranges. A choice of control outputs and
two event outputs are available.
Controllers
are provided with dual LEDs - red for display of measured value and
green for set value. SR3 series has large easy to read 20mm high display.
They feature universal mains power supply of 100-240VAC, IP66 dust &
splash proof front panel and CE approval.

MECO Clamp-On TRMS Auto Ranging Power Meter
3510PW,
a new addition to the MECO Clamp-On Power Meter series is a Clamp-On
TRMS Auto Ranging Power Meter with extended ranges up to 1000 A and
600 kW. Besides capability of measuring several electrical parameters
(both in single and three phase), this portable instrument can also
measure capacitance, temperature, phase angle, apparent power and frequency.
The wide jaw opening of 40 mm assists in convenient adaptation to varied
applications.
This auto ranging instrument is designed to measure AC+DC µA up
to 1000µA, AC Current directly up to 1000A AC, AC+DC Voltage up
to 600V AC/DC, Active power up to 600KW & Apparent Power up to 600KVA
without the need to even disconnect the loads. The large high contrast
LCD display shows dual parameters at a time i.e. KW+PF, KVA+j, V+A,
V+Hz and A+Hz.
Resistance, Capacitance, Frequency, Diode, Temperature, Phase Angle,
Data Hold Facility and selectable Auto Power Off function are few of
its capabilities.
This compact and lightweight instrument is useful in several HVAC electrical
applications like, capturing motor in-rush current readings, checking
current drawn in motors & compressors, testing Run/Start Capacitors,
verifying line voltage stability, monitoring motors & other loads
for excess heat, checking motor run/start capacitor values etc.
This instrument is eligible for 100% depreciation as per clause III
(3) (iiiB) of rule 5 of Income Tax.
